At Old Bridge Veterinary Hospital, we are proud to offer one of the largest animal boarding facilities in Northern Virginia. Our climate-controlled kennels are spacious, clean, and designed to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for your animal companions. With a variety of accommodations, we make it easy for your pet to feel right at home—whether you have a playful pup, a curious cat, or a small animal friend. Our dedicated team works in two daily shifts, caring for your pets even when the hospital is closed. OBVH has a spacious outdoor walk area at with plenty of room to explore and a section for pets to play and exercise off-leash.
Kennel Sizes
We have a variety of kennel sizes to ensure your pet feels comfortable and secure:

We offer specialized boarding in dedicated spaces for exotic pets.Including birds, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits, to ensure their safety and comfort.
For these pets, please provide their personal cage, food, extra bedding, and any necessary supplies when you drop them off.

Boarding Requirements
Proof of current vaccinations for dogs, cats, and ferrets is required before check-in.
Rabies vaccine
Distemper vaccine
Bordetella vaccine (canine only)
Additionally, for our canine guests, a negative fecal test is necessary.
We kindly ask that all pets arrive free of fleas and other parasites to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone.

What to Bring:
Pet's own special diet if pet has allergies, or, prone to GI upset.
Food must be in a sealed plastic container labeled with pet's full name.
Medications/supplements in original, properly labeled containers (do not mix with food).
For exotics: cage, food, & enough bedding for entire stay.
